Tips and Tricks (Optional but Recommended)

1. Pre-Shape the Gear Guards

To help the Gear Guards better conform to your headgear, gently roll it into a “taco” shape and place it in a standard tumbler or wide-mouth cup for up to 60 minutes. This helps the material retain a natural curve closer to your headgear.

2. Seal Edges with Heat

After applying the Gear Guards, use a hair dryer or heat gun to gently warm the edges. Then, press down firmly to help seal and secure them.

3. Apply Extended Pressure

For the most consistent bond, place a heavy object over the Gear Guards for at least 30 minutes. This helps ensure long-lasting adherence.
